fertilitycare is for any woman, regardless of cycle issues.

Unlike other methods, the Creighton Model System works with any type of cycle. Observing and charting your cycles with CrMS also assists you in actively monitoring and evaluating your reproductive health! We will work together to fix the issues of concern and to clarify what is truly an issue and what's actually not a problem at all.

my cycles are irregular.

Sometimes cycle irregularity is caused by hormonal issues that need to be treated. By charting your cycles, we can evaluate your cycles and work with a NAPRO doctor to run accurately-timed hormone panels. He/She will then work cooperatively with your body to address these issues and get your cycles on a more regular cycle.

Not all irregular cycles are unhealthy, though. Sometimes women simply have a longer follicular phase of their cycle. This is not unhealthy! By observing and charting your cycles, you can see if your longer cycles are simply longer follicular phases. Plus, you'll know exactly when to anticipate your period starting each cycle!

my periods are painful.

Your periods are NOT meant to be painful. If you experience severe or even moderate cramping each month, there is usually a reason why. Experiencing PMS before your period starts? This is also a treatable condition. Identifying these issues and working with a trained medical professional can help you experience pain and symptom relief.

i'm breastfeeding, so I'm infertile.

Breastfeeding does increase your prolactin levels, which can suppress ovulation. But at least 35% of women will experience ovulation BEFORE their first post partum period. That means that if you assume you are infertile because you are breastfeeding, you may be surprised by an unexpected ovulation. Charting with a Practitioner will help you be confident of when this ovulation approaches and occurs, so you won't be surprised.

i bleed frequently, not just when i'm on my period.

Many women experience unusual bleeding in their cycles but are told by their doctors to either not worry about it or to go on hormonal birth control to prevent it. Neither of these options gets to the root CAUSE of this bleeding, though! The first step is to chart your cycles so that you know exactly when and how you are bleeding; then you can work with a trained medical professional to diagnose and treat the bleeding once and for all.

i don't really know what's going on!

Whether you experience any of these issues, or really have no idea what's going on in your cycles, FertilityCare is a great resource for you! It gives you the opportunity to listen to your body and find out exactly what it's doing on it's own. All of the issues listed above are commonly seen problems. You are not alone! And there are most certainly ways to treat these issues and not simply "regulate" your cycles with a monthly bleed. We want to give you those options, and empower you to decide how to move forward to improve your reproductive health.
